U6 Coach Skills Course: THIS Saturday-SUNDAY, April 5th-6th AM and PM class

Location: Parade Grounds, Saturday April 5th, meeting at the Concession stand

Roster number 201401340, for 9AM-10:30 class, be there at 8:50am

Roster number 201401341, for 1PM-2:30PM class, be there at 12:45pm


Location: Parade Grounds, Sunday April 6th, meeting at the Concession stand

Roster number 201401342, for 9AM-10:30 class, be there at 8:50am

Roster number 201401343, for 1PM-2:30PM class, be there at 12:45pm

All coaches MUST have taken Safe Haven class + COMPLETE the online U6 course, bring your certificate to the class.

How to sign up as a volunteer for the first time:
1. Go to www.eayso.org and click on "I am new to AYSO and want to volunteer" button.
2. Select "I want to do my part as an AYSO volunteer" and click "Next" button.
3. Follow instructions to create your profile and complete form. We are Region 473.
4. The form is several steps long and will ask for such information as address, SSN, drivers license #, and personal and professional references. When form is complete, follow printing instructions.
5. Print TWO copies of your form, sign both, and bring to your division coordinator or course instructor.

Register for the course:

1. After completing your volunteer registration, log in at www.eayso.org.
2. Go to "myeAYSO", then 'course sign up'. Enter corresponding Roster number from above.
3. Select State "NY", City "Brooklyn", Section "3", Area "A", Region "473", Course "U-6 Coach" , then check box to class.
4. Check "Add attendee to program roster"

If you cannot sign up for any reason but want to take the class, just show up at the designated time and location and take the class.

IMPORTANT - Bring a ball, shin guards, on-line certificateand plenty of water. Children WELCOME.

The class will teach you:
1. How to prepare for a game
2. Develop age-appropriate skills
3. Activities and games for the age group
