Brooklyn AYSO Registration FAQ

  • HOW DO I REGISTER?
    You can register online here.
  • Registration Dates
    Fall season registration begins June 1st. Winter season registration begins November 1st. Spring season registration begins February 1st. On-time registration runs for one month before prices increase; however, divisions often reach maximum capacity before the month expires. Once divisions are full, later registrants will be placed on a wait list and placed on teams if space becomes available.
  • Refund Policy
    Full Refund if player withdraws prior to any AYSO activity – no games, no practice for the registered season – and returns the uniform; Partial Refund of $75 if player withdraws after participating in any AYSO activity and returns the uniform; Partial Refund of $60 if player withdraws after participating in any AYSO activity and keeps the uniform or returns a damaged uniform.
  • Player Equipment
    Players may not wear anything that is dangerous to themselves or any other player. This includes, among other items, all items of jewelry and accessories including hair beads & hard barrettes, earrings, necklaces, wristbands and ankle bracelets, watches, casts and splints. With the exception of a “medical bracelet”, no item may be worn and taped or covered.
  • All players must wear shin guards at all games and practices. Players should bring a soccer ball & water and should wear athletic shoes. AYSO will provide a uniform of shirt, shoes, and socks, which will be distributed by your child's coach at the beginning of the season.
  • Age Verification
    Only children born between 7/31/96 - 7/31/09 are currently eligible to play in our program. Upon registration, new U6 players must present for verification (a) an original birth certificate, (b) copy of an insurance card in the player’s name with date-of-birth on the card, or (c) copy of passport prior to participating. Age falsification presents risks for the player, families, and the Region.
  • HOW DO I FIND OUT WHAT TEAM MY CHILD IS ON?
    To find out what team your child is on, go to click here.

    Log in using the email address and password you used when you registered yourself and your child. Click "family profile" to access your family's information. Look for the "Team Assignments" tab within your family profile for team number, roster, and coach information.
  • PLEASE NOTE THAT TEAM ASSIGNMENTS ARE NOT CURRENTLY COMPLETE.
    Team rosters and schedules will be announced 2 - 3 weeks before the beginning of the season. When coaches are informed of who is playing on their teams, they will be in touch with the players and their families to get things going.
